15-week curling program with "little" rocks for kids five to nine years old
This is an introduction to curling for kids aged five to nine years old, using small rocks and half-length sheets of ice (suitable for beginners and returning Little Rock curlers). No curling equipment is required, as VCC supplies everything needed, except for a helmet.
Participants are required to bring their own helmets.
The program runs for 15 one-hour sessions, 12:15 pm to 1:10 pm, from Sept. 19 to Jan. 30 with no curling on Nov. 14, Dec. 26, Jan. 2, Jan. 16.
Please have curlers wearing warm clothing in layers and clean running shoes, as the rink area is about 5 degrees.
