Five-week curling program with small rocks for kids five to nine years old
This is an introduction to curling for kids aged five to nine years old, using small rocks and half-length sheets of ice. No curling equipment is required, as VCC supplies everything needed, except for a helmet. Participants are required to bring their own helmets.
Please have curlers wearing warm clothing in layers and clean running shoes, as the rink area is about 5 degrees.
The program runs for five one-hour sessions, 1:15 pm to 2:15 pm, from Jan.10 to Feb. 21 with no curling on Jan. 17, Feb. 7.
